DirecTV Systems
Ogren Electronics was proud to be a premier DirecTV dealer back in 1994 when the service first launched. Now after having installed over 4,000 satellite systems, you can have confidence that we have the expertise to install a system correctly in your home.
The biggest challenge in the Northwoods is, of course, the site because of the natural forests and heavily wooded lots. Because of our vast experience with installations in the area we can often find a suitable location for your satellite dish, even when others have failed.
NOTE: Ogren Electronics does NOT deal in chipped or modified access cards and considers them to be theft of service, a serious crime.
DirecWay & DirecPC
Internet services delivered via satellite have been around since 1995 and that's when Ogren Electronics began delivering it to the Northwoods. DirecPC, with it's telephone dial-up and satellite return served well for years, and may still be appropriate for certain applications, but now, two-way satellite communications have eliminated the need for a phone line all together . . . a huge advantage for remote locations.
Our installers are certified for both DirecWay and Starband, and are authorized for installation and service for DirecWay from DirecTV, AOL, Earthlink, Juno, and HNS.
C-Band (the big dishes)
Many Ogren Electronics customers still enjoy the benefits and programming that a C-Band satellite system offers. Plus, Dave Ogren is one of the few dealers who still service and install big dish systems. although most residential customers prefer a small dish system, many educational or commercial sites still depend on big dish technology. |
